Ivan Basso
    Discovery Channel Pro Cycling team announced yesterday that they signed Ivan Basso for next year.
They also have some sort of deal with a Chinese cycling team to try to expand the base of professional riders.

Ivan, we hardly knew ye.  Announced yesterday, in the best interests of the team being able to secure a new sponsor next year, he resigned because of an Italian Olympic Committee investigation starting tomorrow.

Huh, I guess all the euro-cycling fans won't be able to taunt him as well then...then again maybe they save that for us yanks.
