It seems lately that is becoming ever more fashionable for older bands that long ago broke up to make a come back and there might be some people out there who normally roll their eyes at this and sadly shake their head (I usually am one of them) but I must say that when it is a band that, when you listen to their music, somehow resonated with you whether from shared experiences or beliefs or whatever, it really is a kick.  I just found out that Naked Raygun is playing a couple of shows at the House of Blues at the end of this month.  This is a band that I grew attached to during my high school and college days.  They are a punk band after the fashion of the Sex Pistols or perhaps The Clash but wholely American in sound, attitude and lyrics.  I am planning on going to the later show to see them and I guess they are planning on releasing a new albumn soon.  So I guess I have to change my opinion about bands getting back together.  Ah, well, live and learn and retool.
